GS4 Grilling System

What exactly is the GS4 system? This high-performance system consists of 4 key elements – Infinity Ignition, High-Performance Burners, Porcelain-Enamelled Flavorizer Bars, and Grease Management System.

What’s new with the burners? Weber revamped their burner design to ensure the even distribution of heat throughout the cooking surface. How did they do this? The burners have a tapered design, and the holes are made larger than in the previous models.

As for the flavorizer bars, Weber has angled them to catch drippings that vaporize and go back to the food as smoky flavor.

Lastly, drippings that are not able to vaporize are collected and whisked away into the drip tray, which is located under the cookbox. After the grilling process, you can easily remove the catch pan and discard the grease.
